Effective: 1 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FamZz POS handles information when you use the FamZz POS website, web application, Windows application and Android application.

Information we process
Depending on use, FamZz POS may process account information such as name and email address; authentication and session information; company, outlet, staff and role information; and business records entered into the POS, including menu, inventory, orders, kitchen tickets, recorded payment methods, shifts, expenses, reports and configuration data.
We may also process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including device identifiers created for offline authorization, synchronization identifiers, timestamps, error or audit records, and network information used for security and abuse prevention.
How we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide company workspaces and POS functions, synchronize authorized offline changes, operate licensing and access controls, provide support, protect the service, troubleshoot failures, maintain audit records and deliver requested integrations.
Payments
FamZz POS records payment methods and transaction information entered by authorized business users. FamZz POS does not itself process or charge payment cards. Users should not enter full payment-card credentials into free-text fields.
Offline data
When an authorized user enables offline access, a protected copy of the relevant company workspace may be stored on that device. Offline access is tied to the signed-in user, company and device and can synchronize with the company workspace when connectivity returns.
Service providers and integrations
We use service providers where necessary to operate FamZz POS, including infrastructure/database hosting and transactional email delivery. If a company enables an external business integration, information required for that integration may be transmitted to the configured service. We do not sell personal information or use POS data for third-party advertising.
Security
We use measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS transport, access controls, scoped company permissions, secure session cookies, password hashing, rate limiting and encrypted local offline storage when offline access is enabled. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, maintain legitimate business records, meet legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When an account-deletion request is completed, associated personal data is deleted or anonymized unless particular records must be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or regulatory reasons.
Account and data deletion
Users can request deletion of their FamZz POS account and associated personal data through our Account & Data Deletion page. Company business records may have separate retention obligations and may belong to the company operating the workspace.
Business administrators
Where you use FamZz POS as a staff member of a customer company, that company controls staff access and much of the business information in its workspace. Requests concerning company records may require coordination with the company administrator.
Children
FamZz POS is a business point-of-sale service and is not designed for children.
Changes
We may update this policy as FamZz POS changes. The current version will remain available at this URL with its effective date.
